1) Send me ONE of your favorite RECENT pictures(no professional images allowed) of yourself(if you are 13-19) or your teen between the ages of 13-19 to info@brennagentry.com *ONLY ONE TEEN PER FAMILY*

2) I will accept no more than 25 submissions,but need a minimum of 15 to hold the contest & and move on to the next phase.

3) I will confirm your submission, so if you do not hear back from me I did not get it, either check your spam or send again.

4) Once I receive all submissions neeeded I will then email you instructions with rules & info on the steps to win.

The winner will be chosen by 'votes' of the general public & will receive my STANDARD SESSION ($800 value) for free! You will also have the option to upgrade to any of my other sessions at a discounted rate. To see what all of my sessions include check this out: RATES

Why I Chose to Rebrand & My New Look

For those of you who follow this blog, my blog, & my facebook... you have definitely noticed a BIG CHANGE. Not only did I rebrand my logo/websites, I changed my brand completely by changing my business name! I can assure you it was a risky & hard decision. I wanted to show you all my new branding & tell you a bit more about why I made the change.

WHY?

Well, it was something that was kinda planned all along, yet out of the blue. I had always known I was going to use my name for commercial/fashion work, but never even considered changing 'Sparkling Seal'. It was then suggested to me by a dear friend, who happens to have her own fab business & knows a thing or two about being successful. I fought it pretty hard in the beginning. I was so emotionally attached to 'Sparkling Seal' that I couldn't imagine ditching it completely. I then talked with my inner circle of confidants and spent some time pondering it.

I decided, no matter all of the reasons, BOTTOM LINE was I didn't need to have TWO brands. One was hard enough to maintain...So that pretty much decided for me. Some of my other reasons were that I had moved past Sparkling Seal & grown up so to speak. I was also realizing people did NOT know my name. The only people who knew my name were my clients. I had so many people recognize my son & say, "Aren't you Sparkling Seal?".. that was bizarre for me in more ways than one;) I need people to know my name... not because I want a bunch of credit etc... but because its easier to remember & therefor easier to refer. It also makes people feel more comfortable in 'knowing a name'. It was time for a rebrand anyway... so I just took it an extra step;)

What Now??

Well, I knew going into this that it would slow me down for a minute. Not only did it take me a month to execute the switch & because of that I have lost out on some momentum & jobs. My plan now is to get the clients I want, take the photographs I want, & start work on a Commercial/Fashion portfolio. Wish me luck on this leg of my journey!

Boudoir Website...I have totally shafted this site the last few months, so I was glad to get to update it & focus on it again. I wanted it to play off of the other site, but fit the boudoir vibe. See it live HERE!




Blog... Again super simple & complimentary to the main website, I opted to not have photos on top, I am pleased by that.See it live HERE!




The hardest transition for me.. Facebook Fan Page! I lost all of the fans I had built up.. so I am starting over. Like my page if you haven't I am giving away goodies every 100 people! Like it HERE!

Sweet Cousins | Franklin Tn Children's Photographer

This session was one a doubled up mini session I did of two cousins. I was excited when I first saw them of course because they were such dolls! They were both shy, but super sweet. Hannah(the oldest)was a great little model & was a total breeze. Lanie(the toddler), was a total doll! She was not really into modeling of course(being so young) but she did VERY well and when she was over it we just worked around her & thanks to her mother's patience she kept her from getting too mad at us:) Sometimes when you photograph children that pretty it can make your job too easy;) I hope I have the chance to photograph both of these girls again. I would love to see how the grow up, they are just so pretty & sweet!

Suzin & Jessica | Franklin Tn Couple Photographer

Yay, I am finally blogging again! I am super excited to show you the full post from the preview you saw on the blog a few weeks ago & those of you on the NEW FACEBOOK PAGE helped this awesome couple get a complimentary 8x10! Thanks for that & I know they appreciate it too!

So let me tell you about this couple for a minute... one word AWESOME. Some people say that word get used too much, but in this situation it's basically they only word that even gets close to describing them. Now, I am not gonna lie I MAY be slightly biased because Suzin(curly hair) is my cousin! Actually my father's cousin so that makes us cousins on whatever degree of cousin we are;) Jess(short hair) had actually contacted me about a year ago wanting to get some pics of them.. but since they live in North Carolina it took awhile til they came into town. I was/am so pleased and honored that they wanted me to do their photos! Honestly, I feel that way about everyone who hires me... but from my cousin who when I was little was like my own personal Madonna.... I mean there was NOBODY as cool as her.. not even Madonna! In fact..that still rings true!

They have been together for 2 years & Jess just recently order a huge wall print of one of her fave images as a surprise for Suzin(I am waiting on a pic of it hung btw...hint hint). They are such a great couple...definitely even each other out I think. They know how to love & have fun.. . that's what it's all about people. Thanks so much for doing this shoot.. even with cicadas everywhere!

















I am still in shock that I love a Ke$ha song.. but I am obsessed with this remix!

The NEW me is ME! | Franklin Tn Photographer

I'm back! I know you may have thought I fell off the face of the earth.. and honestly, I felt like that too;) I have been spending the past few weeks completely re-branding my business. Full name change & everything! I will be writing a post over on the Shoot Franklin blog with more details about that, but I can say that it was a hard decision, but I think a great one. Not only have I changed my name, literally everything else has changed too. I have a completely new session structure which allows EVERY session to include digital files! I also have stripped my restrictions on child photography. I am not afraid of change when it comes to this creative journey. My journey isn't about money... it isn't about what others expect.. its about ME, MYSELF & I. My journey has taken so many twists and turns & sometimes u-turns... and believe me when I tell you it's a never ending journey.

So here we are on this leg. A brand new name(which is the best name possible for me, because it's MY name). New WEBSITE, new FACEBOOK, new look for this blog, new SESSIONS, & a new attitude. Continuing a blog post about being myself.. I am now officially myself... so I will shoot what I want & be who I am. I am so thankful I am here & that people like my work. I am thankful for all of the love & support of friends, family, photographers, & strangers in cyber world. Please continue to follow me on this journey & say "hey!" along the way so I know you are with me.
